For treating you like I did,
Recognizing you as an angel,
What kind of person am I,
For treating you like I did?

I wish I would've known,
What this would've done,
I didn't mean to kill you,
Didn't mean to end what we had,
Stopped the movie too soon.

I'm so sorry,
For wanting to be,
More then a friend,
How horrible am I,
For treating you like I did?

What if we had actually tried,
What if you really had wings,
I really wish,
We could've been more,
But now there's nothing left.

I'm so sorry,
I asked you out that day,
With a poem and a rose,
Because I liked you more,
How horrible am I,
For treating you like I did?

Why couldn't I have been more romantic,
More origanol,
I could tell it wasn't going to last,
When you said we could try,
But what I realized,
You just couldn't see.

I'm so sorry,
For forcing you upon that cloud,
And gluing that halo to your head,
How horrible am I,
For treating you like I did?

I mistreated a mortal,
By giving her plastic wings,
And pushing her off a cliff,
I honestly thought that you could fly,
How horrible am I?

For treating you like I did,
I lost a friend,
With one single rose,
And I'm so sorry,
How horrible am I?

And I knew this couldn't last,
When the roses pettles fell off,
And the stem went limp,
How horrible am I,

I like everything up until the stem going limp...if that could be changed somehow..up until the stem began to bend..or began to dry...I hope you don't mind the critique, perhaps it's just me..but the stem going limp..
it sounds too...almost sexual and so sounds comical to me., and takes away from the romance. But all in all I love it!!! (hope you don't mind...???)
