staring at the sky in the park.
You realize you’ve fulfilled your life
and have left your mark.

Sitting,
gazing out the window of the coffee shop.
You begin to contemplate suicide,
just to make all of this stop.

Running,
watching as you pass this life by.
All you want is to gain your wings,
so that again, you can fly.

Lying,
your eyes remain closed.
For you have picked the blade,
your blood’s become exposed.

Sitting,
wondering why you’re still here.
You thought you cut right,
everything is so unclear.

Running,
you still don’t understand.
You always thought you knew
everything firsthand.

Lying,
staring at the ceiling in your room.
You realize that you’ve already committed suicide,
the day you left the womb. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 172 [topic] => 36 [informant] => acidicblasphemy [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 8 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Suicide )

Whoa!
It has an excellent flow!
(I'm at a loss of words)
That was awesome!
So vivid. You made it feel as if the reader may identify with the character's emotions.
Kudos to you for making a complex "mentality" easy to grasp...

so sad, but i can relate because i've wanted to kill myself so many times, but people always stop me. i've never been caught trying to, though. great poem. *hugs*
