And I. Fragile in the wind
It seems you still run from me
It seems this is finally the end

For the answers I have been waiting for
Elusive as the sun begins to set
I wonder at the end of each day
Wonder at all the things you choose to forget

My world should collapse on me
End the suffering that I face each day
I wish you would cease to exist
For you complicate my very existence, in every which way

My feelings turn around on me
As I sit here and blame only myself
Yet, handle these things is what I did
And I tried at nothing else

I sought to make myself a better man
Find the things that will make me complete
I came looking for you when I found them
For you stayed hidden from me, lost and discreet

It seems I am against an army
Deception loses, not even at my end
Some days it feels as if I can't stand on my own
And I still look to you, as a friend

But you slit my throat with your emptiness
Proved everything I ever believed as wrong
I could sit upon this liar's chair
But it seems I have been sleeping for so long

Please just wake me
Roll me over and hold me close
I wish I had the comfort of back then
I wish it was a different choice you chose

Predicting time and time again
You seem to read my every move
For you cut me off from happiness
It was all mine to lose

Sometimes even when I'm not thinking of you
I can still feel that age old breeze
I can feel your arms and warmth of passion
And I'm sure you're still beautiful, as the moon shines through the trees

You see there was one thing forgotten
And if it's one thing that I ever will do
The life full of hardship and loathing
All I have is love for you

So you can grab up just about anything
Try and try to run
But remember as you feel the same breeze as I do
This love is a vicious cycle for me, and in the end it's never done
