Uncertain if you will take
The opportunity to be with me
In love at last…forever free.
Wondering, waiting
He consumes my mind
Will he come around?
Or am I wasting time?
I long to uncover the mystery of you
And for you to discover who I am too.
I reach out to where he slept the night before
But there lies an empty space
Instead of the one I adore.
The unanswered questions
Taunt my soul everyday
I am sickened by the possibility
He won’t feel the same way.
Like the last leaf of autumn I slowly fell.
Now I am living in my own personal hell.
Wondering waiting
To see what’s in store.
Will he stay in my arms?
Or will he walk out the door?
Just make up your mind
To be in my life or get gone.
Please tell me the truth
So I can finally move on.

So much is at stake
Uncertain if you will take
