Wider FBI Probe Of Pentagon Leaks Includes Chalabi

By Robin Wright and Thomas E. RicksWashington Post Staff Writers
Friday, September 3, 2004

‘FBI counterintelligence agents are investigating whether several Pentagon officials leaked classified information to Iraqi politician Ahmed Chalabi and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, according to a law enforcement official and other people familiar with the case.’

--O?--

Mr Ahmed Chalabi,do you remember him?
The favourite of Bush
And the Pentagon
Now gone for an early swim

And now an investigation
Going right to the top
Into Feith and all
Who spread secret information?

Ah, Ahmed Chalabi
You once were the great white hope
Now it seems all and sundry
Feel that they’ve been a dope

Oh SO many red faces
Those who pushed this corrupt man
And his Iraqi National Congress
They strive to understand

He was their source of “truth”
About all aspects of Iraq
About all those terrible weapons
Spurring America to attack

And now he is the enemy
How strange is his fate
The Pentagon got it wrong
But learned of it too late

And now the sh*t has begun
To well and truly hit the fan
Bush got it so very WRONG
With his illegal plan

Chalabi was telling lies
And his organisation too
There were no wmds
Nothing to threaten you

Bush murdered thousands of innocents
Due to what this man said
A callous attack on a defenceless land
Children now stone dead

But will you hear this from in the Bush?
About the innocents that HE killed?
No he isn’t man enough
To tell you all this he willed

Due to the lies of the Chalabi man
Now so persona non grata
He sold you a bunch of callous lies
And not happy ever after

Bush wants now to sell the lie
That it was all completely other
That he didn’t peddle all these lies
He is a lying mother

Iraq had no defence
To American guns and bombs
You simply murdered children
With all these desert storms

But now it must be all dressed up
In fancy words and lies
The skull must be painted with a smile
And all the world despise

Your lying politicians
Are so corrupt, so vile
Boasting about their killing fields
Pasting kid’s corpses with a smile

And what about Ahmed Chalabi?
Well, he's running for election
No doubt taking tips from George Bush
In their crime connection

And no doubt from Cheney too
The Halliburton thief
Such friends are hard to come by
Corruption beyond belief

So, Mr Ahmed Chalabi,
DO you STILL remember him?
They'd prefer him wiped from your mind
As if he'd never been...
