Something you can always keep around
It's not like you really wanted to destroy me
It's not like anyone really heard a sound

So cut me with your evil doings
Razor's edge laced with rusted steel
The raw feeling of splitting flesh
And the warm blood as I waited to peel

Still I had only one thing for you
It was the warmth upon your face
That fateful day you claimed me forgotten
And now you're stuck in that awful place

You've seemed to have dropped your steel
Yet, forcefully armed you will always be
With deceitful words and emotions
A slice of contempt mixed upon me

And as I sat there bleeding
And I smiled up at you
You knew I would have rather been there
I would have rather been bleeding with you [comments] => 2 [counter] => 198 [topic] => 13 [informant] => Exodus-On-Life [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

You've seemed to have dropped your steel
Yet, forcefully armed you will always be
With deceitful words and emotions
A slice of contempt mixed upon me

This is powerfull stuff, certain words of that poem hold the power and give it real meaning. I suggest to people that they read it more than once to get a good interpretation of it
