to these puzzles with which I'm faced
to life's numerous riddles
by which I'm being chased
I wish I could ignore the question marks
until they fade away
and when I stumble upon these decisions
I'll know the right one to make
Options and ultimatums
Questions I don't know to ask
Help I cannot find
throw another potential away with the last
I want to go straight
but this one on my right is gold
Tear me into two, four, or eight
I'll never again be whole
I don't want to make a mistake
but I don't want to miss the tarnished silver
don't want to be taken by fool's gold
I just want these unanswered questions to be over [comments] => 5 [counter] => 178 [topic] => 21 [informant] => AnastasiaN [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )

Hey I had a conversation about this today with a friend.... Unfortunately, we are only human and we can't know all the information and yet we must act on what we know... At times it's frustrating, and at times it leaves us feeling guilty. But it's life and never regret what you do.

Great poem...
Jaime

All that gitters... Yeah we all know that, but still we choose out of need and want to believe in people. We live and we learn . Nice poem.
