[bodytext] => For once,
I'm happy....
A little anyway....
For the first time in a long time.
I actually forgot what it feels like
To be happy....
A girl I work with,
I love working with her
Because she's so kind....
And for a while, I've kind of suspected
She might like me....
I said something about being in a bowling league
And she said she wants
To go bowling with me,
So I told her when she wanted to go,
To give me a call....
So I might have an honest-to-goodness
Date as friends....
I've felt so happy,
That nothing could bring me down,
Not even the guy who tried to rear-end me
And wanted to fight me....
I finally remember what it's like
To be at least
A little happy.... [comments] => 3 [counter] => 165 [topic] => 54 [informant] => Solmyr1404 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => happypoetry )

I can feel that. Your jumpstarted 'give a ****' meter. Really, good capturing the gasp of air that even the possibility of some pleasure in this drab and hopeless world can offer. I watch you come up from the water in this poem.
