Dinner was ready the oven was hot, my nerves that day,
were really shot.

Your favorite was waiting and ready for you. The pains
I took just knowing that you, would love it to find all that
was here, favorite food, candle lite dinner, kids having
already been fed.

I waited and waited, as time wore on, I started to worry
maybe something had gone wrong. Accident, car wreck,
working late again, my mind I was loosing with worry and
woe.

Finally I hear the car out front, my worries over, a smile on
my face, he's home no worries, I went to the door.

Sorry lady, stopped off for one with my friend, the guy never
knows to just say when. Those were your first words, not
hey hun I'm home.....you never drink and till then never told
lies.

It wasn't the liquoir I smelled on your breath, but the perfume
of your friend....what is he gay. I remember asking you that
in my nasty little way. Dinner was ruined, and everything else,
that was a memory sorry to say.

So to someone on here who thought I had stalked, played a game
with a comment about what they wrote, no you just jogged a memory
from out of my past. I promise not to scare you with any more, but
will keep my comments where they belong when I read things that
make my heart bleed.

Very sad but written like a professional.

Makes you know that is what life should be, as far, as kids fed and put to rest, so mom and dad may have a bliss. Things can be that way, but as far as the nasty pefume thing.....it would'nt happen! NO! Nice write

Well poetry really becomes the relationship between reader and writer so this isn't nec. a bad thing. It helps to have people out there who understand. I take it from your poems that you have someone wonderful now.
