When the moonlight first is seen.
After all the whispers and bad dreams start to come,
I’ll be running to you desperately.
When the sky turns black and your fears set in,
When the silence is reassuring, almost comforting.
Is when you’ll know the end has just begun.
When you wish for what you’ve already had
Unappreciated and abused constantly.
When the anger makes you do crazy things,
Leaving you unpleased with what’s been done.
When the words you say are meaningless and carefree
You’ll know that honesty and happiness
Is nothing more than a childhood dream.
Everything you’ve hoped for
And
Everything you’ve dreamed
Has all been wasted time.
Say good-bye to your dreams.
No one can be honest or say what they mean.
I hate to be crude,
But name one damn thing
That has been everything you have ever wanted
And you were able to receive.
They’re talking ***** when they say,
“It’s just because you have to work for your dreams.”
Have you ever seen a miracle?
Well I’ve had shattered dreams,
Is that good enough to make people satisfied?
Everyone’s unpleasant and cooks up things,
Which they then try to live with,
Knowing someone else is suffering
Doesn’t seem to matter to those who’ve already realized:
There’s no such thing as dreams.
