She sees, hears, and smells everything about the crowd.
Although she wished for years she could be in this place.
The fear of a failure is always in her way.
She steps up to the mic to give her extraordinary sound.
The music starts to play, but she doesn't notice it's around.
She feels her knees start to shake as she looks out at the people.
The auditorium stops, the silence is pricking her like a needle.
Her time has come, she can't turn back, destiny has her in its arms.
Suddenly, she gives her first note sounding her alarm.
For now is the time she is no longer in this place.
She is now in her own world winning her race.
Towards the end of her song she lets herself go.
Belting out one of her very last words.
The voice of an angel, the sound of chimes and bells.
The stage lights up and the crowd is in a spell.
As she finishes the note of the end of the song.
The crowd stands to their feet and gives a thundering applaud.
She knows this is her place, it's where she wants to be.
Her life is a dream that has now become complete.
All of her goals and ambitions of herself has come true.
Believe in yourself today and your dreams can happen too.

The rythm stumbles just a bit in the middle. It is a fantastic message, however. I like the fact that you don't fight for the rhyme adding words that don't fit, or are unnecessary. An enjoyable read as a whole.
