I no longer have the strength to cry,
Death could be the answer to my prayers,
That have gone unanswered for years.

I brushed right past my friend death,
Felt the cold of his icy breath,
Why didn’t I just take some more,
By now I’d be rapping on heaven’s door.

I do not want to be alive,
Me & my soul can no longer survive,
I should be laying down to an eternal rest,
But the suicide attempt was not one of my best.

I am still here living & breathing,
While my insides are dying & grieving,
To die is not something to be feared,
In it’s rapture I long to be smeared.

I feel that my mind is about to snap,
My exhausted wings have lost their flap,
I’m sick & tired of battling through,
I do long to die, but then I think about you.

Do I stay or do I go?
The answer to that I do not know,
I thought I was strong, but I am weak,
My whole worlds fallen at my feet.

Death is a constant thought,
In it’s midst I find myself caught,
Things have long gotten too hard for me,
I need to set myself forever free.

I like this one, but before you go......to be absolutely free....you got to look deep inside and really get to know.......otherwise its just running to hide.

Good poem.

Pixie, this is a very heartrenching emotionally powerful poem. It was a beautiful write. You can make it... I know you can... you not only help others with your undying kindness but you pretty much saved me... and you live another world away... you are very strong, and you don't need me to tell you that. You helped me realize that I can make it and fight out this horrible time. Keep your head up, and pm me.

Deanna

Your poem expresses your pain and torment quite well. I'm sorry to hear that life for you is so painful. Pain is not always our enemy, however. It can be a motivator to spur us on to making other choices and getting out of a negative mind set. Our faith can be a source of strength.

God Bless
Willofree
