Array ( [sid] => 61814 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Still waiting... [time] => 2004-08-29 14:27:03 [hometext] => Mind you, this is a very long poem... (I had alot on my mind again, lol...) Reminiscing about my ex-boyfriend, and I am still waiting for him, although he will never come back for me... Enjoy, and comments very appreciated! Thanks! [bodytext] => Alone in the dark,
Is where I am...
Waiting for something,
That will never come...
Waiting for someone,
Who was never there...
I wait for hours,
Thinking of nothing but you...
I stare into the shadows,
And I see your face,
Staring back at me,
With black, emotionless eyes...
It's an illusion I realize,
As I go back to my work...
Blood drips slowly,
From beneath my skin,
And I write your name over and over,
In my own crimson blood...
I pray to the stars,
To the moon,
Wishing you were there...
It starts to get cold,
And I hold myself tightly,
Wondering why you're not there instead...
Rain starts falling,
From the dark heavens above,
And your name is washed away,
Just like my feelings,
That you threw away,
Without a care...
I cry as I watch,
Everything slowly slip away from my grasp...
The rain isn't cleansing,
It joins my scarlet anguish with the dirt,
Creating a new color,
In this gray world...
I look around; you're not there,
I can't leave though,
Because you promised,
Promised you'd save me from myself...
The tears stop, along with the acidic rain,
And everything is hushed...
Death echoing dreadfully through the cores of my being...
A quick movement,
A jerky motion of my scarred hand,
My life gradually creeps out of my skin...
As I watch like a ghost,
The puddles are no longer of rain,
But of blood...
I look up ever so slowly,
My vision is blurred,
But I believe I see you...
Walking, no...running towards me...
I smile to myself,
As I fall to the ground,
I close my eyes,
So as not to see your face...
But I still smile,
Because you finally came...
I can't hear you,
Though I sense you are speaking...
I'm beyond you now,
You are beneath me,
Seeing the stars somehow,
Watching them dance gracefully,
Upon the blanket of Night,
My eternal Muse,
Spelling out your name,
While I wait for you until the end of time... That was a good peom. It sounds like me when my boy friend ended it with me. I hope in time your heart will heal from it, it has taken me forever to get over mine.

Anna Mossity approves, I was overwhelmed with a sudden urgent need to begin "his" reply. For she believes another side of this tale should be told ... though I may not be best suited ... she will be my guide ....

Absolutely fabulous once again Stephy
