Array ( [sid] => 6178 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Escape [time] => 2002-11-04 09:00:00 [hometext] => This song is about rape...Now I don't know what it's like to be raped nor do I wish anyone to know what it's like, the truth is I had that feeling that I had been raped when I wrote this song. I don't know why but If I want or need to write something, I got to become that charater.
~And anyone that has been raped~

*** My heart goes out to you.***
[bodytext] => I sit outside, the cool breeze in my hair
I hear no sound, no birds in the air.
I hear him and, hide close to the ground
He finds me, My pretend world comes crashing down.

I get pulled back to hell
I have...No life there
I am his personal slave
I'm trapped in this maze...

Later that night, I hide in my room
In my corner, I fear whats coming soon
I can't escape it, my door is locked
From the other side, And my window is rusted shut.

I get pulled back to hell
I have...No life there
I am his personal slave
I'm trapped in this maze...

I hear his footsteps, coming up the stairs
I start holding myself, This is the part I fear
He opens the door, and walks inside
Locks it from my side, I am his object I am his ride.

I get pulled back to hell
I have...No life there
I am his personal slave
I'm trapped in this maze...

I'm told I’ve done my job, and I can go to bed
He leaves my room, and locks the door behind him.
I lie in my bed, exhausted and in pain
Tomorrow's another day, another night playing his game.

I get pulled back to hell
I have...No life there
I am his personal slave
I'm trapped in this maze...

I get pulled back to hell
I have...No life there
I am his personal slave
I'm trapped in this maze...

I lie in bed tears run down my face
I need to get out of this place
I lie in bed tears run down my face
Help me get out of this place

This is so sad, my
heart as well goes out
to those who have been
raped or feel as though
they were raped inside
their souls.
