You think you're getting closer but you're really steppin' back
There's no turning back, but I'm always looking behind me
Hoping everything lost won't try to find me
It's funny how it's our life but we live it for them
Hoping we won't be left alone when things get dim
Nobody really knows the way, but we walk it
Nobody really knows what to say, but we talk it
Ending up in the reverie of the silent
Wondering where i am, and where my time went
How many time did I wonder where I'm going
Hoping all the hurt inside me isn't showing
I think its funny how life is up and down
One minute im free, the next my confusion has me bound
It's all for a purpose, and I'm still searching for mine
If life is like a race, then I feel like I'm behind [comments] => 7 [counter] => 195 [topic] => 21 [informant] => chase [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 13 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )
