Tears

Topic: FriendshipPoetry

You know I just realised
How fast life can be compromised
I thought I had a friend
I thought they'd be there to the very end
I'm having second thoughts
And im beggining to break
And my heart is beggining to shake

Sometimes I love you
Your sweet, kind, caring, beautiful and a great friend
Sometimes I feel i've been cheated
Lied too, been a game
Now I don't know who to blame
I'll believe my heart
But it's breaking me apart
And as tears of hurt roll down my face
I still want too let you in my arms and embrace

But I know I can't because I'd be doing satan a favor
A deed for hell
And break even more I shall
I can't say much
I still havn't made up my mind
Maybe if we could talk
I could be more kind
Just say the truth
Say what your heart tells you
Then you will know exactly what too do

When you tell me it all
I know my mind will crash and fall
A game in which was won on lust
A game in which was won un-just
Play it fair and we will see
What it all is and what is too be
My tears

I like this. Good imagery. To be lead by your emotions is to be lead astray, better to let the arbiter goven through disarray. Thank you for sharing.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
