I’m not asking for anything more
I just need to feel your touch
I just love you so very much

You took away all the pain I felt
When you held me my heart would melt
You always had a shoulder full of salt
But none of the tears were ever your fault

You showed me a light that I never saw before
I couldn’t have asked for anything more
Then I made a horrible mistake
For reasons that were completely fake

I listened to what other people said
Now all I want is just to be dead
If I can’t have you back with me
I have nothing to leave for, can’t you see

You gave my heart a reason to love
A blessing truly sent from above
But then I blew it and threw it all away
I wish I could take it back every single day

Your love is the only thing that I lack
But I know I can never have you back
The only time that I have you for my own
Is in my dark room sleeping all alone
