Array ( [sid] => 61415 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Happily Ever After [time] => 2004-08-25 20:59:00 [hometext] => I hope that everyone enjoys this poem, its a really deep poem. I would like to know your thoughts, and feelings on it, if you like/dislike it pease relay your message. Thank you for your time and patience in reading my poem. [bodytext] => A few things keep me aroused
Like your intellectual style
The way your arrogance calls me like “a moth to a flame”
I know it sounds strange
But you take me out of my range
My whole mode of being lost
And at any cost, I’d pay to be yours
Put my jacket on the ground so you can walk over a puddle
This young “Ghetto Love,” we’re calling timeout huddle, lay back and cuddle
Let me interact with every part of your being
Only if you could see in you everything I’m seeing
You’ll become infatuated with yourself
Warning: This love could affect your health
Keep you on a natural high
Like you just drank a fifth of Hennessy and blew a fat “B” and you can’t take
Your head out of the sky
I don’t want to stop, baby, and I refuse to give in
And if loving you is a sin, I’ll dwell in the darkest depth of hell forever
I’m not trying to captivate you, and I’m not trying to be clever
I’m simply saying what my heart is telling my mind to say
You got sunshine taking over my cloudy days
See, I want to do just about everything you want to do
And you want to do just about everything I want to do
And we can just about do everything we want to do
So, quit playin
I know you feel everything I’m sayin
Let me put your uneasiness to rest
If possible, sit at your feet and be blessed
As we begin this quest for a
Happily Ever After

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
