Array ( [sid] => 61375 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Anyway [time] => 2004-08-25 14:10:21 [hometext] => This could fit so many different places. The fact that I hear music to it, made the choice easier. [bodytext] => It’s been a long time since I’ve seen your face
You disappeared again without a trace
I came to see you but they wouldn’t let me in
I’ve just been wondering how you’ve been

Well the past came back to taunt me
And as it hid there in the shadows
It made a mockery
Of your memory
As my heart hung from the gallows
I really didn’t want to tell you
‘Cause I didn’t think you’d listen
Oh you might hear me
But you’d ignore it
No you wouldn’t pay attention to me
Anyway ~

I remember all those sleepless nights
Senses raised to tremendous heights
The sudden tremble every time we’d touch
Slowing our breathing so we wouldn’t rush

And I know I should forget it
Should just let go and not regret it
Wonderin’ if you
Still dream of me too
But I’ll always be indebted
‘Cause you showed me how to open
Hidden doors locked deep within me
Then you moved on
Left me unguarded
I guess you never really needed me
Anyway ~

(instrumental break)

Yes the past comes back to taunt me
And as it hides there in the shadows
It makes a mockery
Of your memory
As my heart hangs from the gallows
And you showed me how to open
Hidden doors locked deep within me
Then you turned away
There’s nothing left to say
I guess it doesn’t really matter
Anyway ~

Still
I remember

It reads as if it would make a great song. "I remembere all those sleepless nights" .... very powerful and intimate lyric

I thought it was great

Beautiful, melancholic, enchanting... I felt your anguish, your longing, your sadness... This is truly a heart-wrenching piece. I can really relate to this, dear Scott. The pain is still inside me, waiting for the moment to strike, and take me down into the darkness once more... You gave your heart to a person you loved, she took it, and then ripped it apart... *HUGS!* No one deserves to be treated that way, but, such is Love... It's blissful one moment, then at a blink of an eye, it stabs you. This song of loneliness, and lost love has torn my heart strings, creating sympathetic tears in my eyes... I feel for you, my sweet Naz... You will find your soul mate soon enough... I hope to find one also. Another enthralling write, mon cheri! Thank you for sharing this with us. Eternally yours,

Fleur de bonheur
