A light in a world with no feeling,
The darkness in my heart,
How is this coming to being?
Is this my new start?

I start to have a weird sensation,
Who or what is this new thing,
I approach it with such caution,
So many questions need asking.

I embrace it. It feels good.
Making me so happy and smile,
Feeling completely understood.
Making my caution worthwhile.

Yet I’m still scared to go any further,
I have this feeling of love,
Yet I do not want to stay here neither,
My best mate believes I need a bit of a shove.

What do I have to lose?
Oh may be just a good friend,
This is something I do not want to abuse.
Though I could gain a boyfriend.

A light in a world with no feeling,
