Wolfs howling in the darkness of the trees.
I hear their feet softly padding upon the ground,
as they follow wondering with curiosity as to what
they may see.

Who owns the voice that whispers lies of freedom
and understanding. This essence that draws me further
toward death and misery?

Fretful of far off screams, strangled with fear I realize
they were once voiced by me. Memories of another lifetime
filled with grief and deceit.

Facing the fire of crimes unseen, they came in the twilight.
Uttering you are the bringer of demons and magic that does not
please.

Wood of the trees stacked all about, laughter rings out, licking
flames of stupidity. Sorceress they screamed as they lit the torch
that cremated me, I wither in pain as they dance and sing in glee.

A curse put upon them in the last fleeting moments of comprehending.
Mark of the beast branded for all to see, his gift for my final submitting.

Singed into the skin of my captives, their lies pushed me, to give into the
horror I had never wanted to see. Entwined together in wretchedness and
everlasting disease, making them wish they had let me be. Laughing out as
evil overtakes and plants another seed, all of them suffering for eternity.
