This is where I want to always be,
I’d love to freeze a pure moment in time,
Making this piece of life forever mine.

Never wanting to face the norm,
As my dear heart is weak & worn,
It has felt the strain of my turbulent life,
Barely pulled through all the grief & strife.

If I could make the world stop turning,
Would it ease my intense burning?
Or would the hurt still turn me to ashes,
As I witness heartache as it crashes.

Things are much better when they are froze,
My weeping willow becomes a mighty rose,
Nothing can break through to my core,
Things are much easier to ignore.

Like the pain & anguish of every day,
You can turn your back & just walk away,
If I had the power to freeze my world,
That would make m a very happy girl.

I like all of your poetry but this is by far the best poem I have ever read !! my favorite line was " My weeping willow becomes a mighty rose." Sometimes I have a perfect moment in life and wish that it can stay that way forever ! Why must life drastically change?
Does it change for the better.... because sometimes it all seems far worse.!?
Keep up the woderful writes.
ALINA
