with all of the snow allay on the ground,
People are walking all bundled up
while looking and gazing in aw all around.

With the sun beating down on the snow below,
Making it a winter wonderland aglow.

Just like a christmas tree alight like a fire,
Looks the ground with all of its dazzling attire.

All of the roads and sidewalks are covered
so people are out trying to shovel it clear,
Just waiting until the very next fall
of the beautiful snow for this year.

And oh what a sight it is when it snows,
So beautiful and dazzling as everyone knows.

As kids all you want is a snow day,
So then you can go out and play.

Go sledding and ice-skating and have a snowball fight,
Until your parents call you in because it's turned night.

Then you sit by the fire and drink your hot cocoa,
and think all about what you'll do tomorrow. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 188 [topic] => 18 [informant] => amber1988 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Holiday Poetry )
