The sounds of silence,
Ringout like thunder in my ears.

Thoughts begin to fill my head,
Nothing seems to be fun anymore,
For what was once entertainment,
Only brings back the memory of you.

I see you everywhere,
In the sunrise,
Oh how you love the sun.
Lying beside me in my bed,
Countless hours we have spent,
Doing nothing but holding each other tight.

I remember your smile,
For it is a mark on my heart,
That no amount of time will erase.

You are and have always been,
The keeper of my heart,
Your soft touch,
Like the finest silk on earth.
The one person I can see living and dying.

You mean the world to me,
With you I am unbreakable,
Nothing can or will hurt me.

Thousands of miles,
Are meaningless,
When I have your love to keep me company.

The tears that fall,
Steadily down my cheek at night,
Aren't tears of pain,
But tears of love,
Love I have and will always have,

What I Have and Always Will Have

The sounds of silence,
