[hometext] => I wrote this poem when I was scared one night because I was hearing things outside, late at night.
[bodytext] => Crash, bang but not a sound Odd things happen when no one's around. Sitting in a prison cell, disguised as a room Sitting, awaiting ultimate doom. Clatter, clatter everywhere My worst fear is being scared. Flicker, flicker the lights go out Around the room things move about. Blood running colder, colder, colder Did the air just move above my shoulder? Was that just me, or are those voices No where to run I have no choices. The door is shattered, Why didn't anyone hear the clatter? I scream, Wake up, wake up, it's just a dream. Ow, ow stop hurting me, A slap in the arm, one above the knee. They slap me in the neck, then in the chest, I'm getting colder, I need a rest. Finally I leave this world alone, Odd things happen when no one's home.
