And how I got so lost,
So confused.
Why I am who I am,
And the mistakes I’ve made
Live inside me
And threaten my demands.

Crystal Clear waterfall,
Acid to my skin,
Burning from the inside,
Dying from within.
Drowning, oh so lonely,
With secrets all my own.
Drowning, slowly fading,
And no one will ever know.

I wonder why I do the things I do
And how I got so lost,
So confused.
Why I am who I am,
And the mistakes I’ve made
Live inside me
And threaten my demands.

Regret, sorrow and sadness
Join forces with my soul.
All the pain inside me
Will never ever show.
Why I am the way I am
Why I do the things I do
No one can see the pain swimming deadly
In my refuge.

I wonder why I do the things I do
And how I got so lost,
So confused.
Why I am who I am,
And the mistakes I’ve made
Live inside me
And threaten my demands.

How the insecurities inside me drum
Against my heart.
How the tears will never end
Because I wont let them start.

(Don’t know why) I’m too weak to cry.
(Don’t know why) I’m too broken to fly
Can’t see straight
There’s a war in my head
Cant move again
Until I know who I am.

I wonder why I do the things I do
And how I got so lost,
So confused.
Why I am who I am,
And the mistakes I’ve made
Live inside me
And threaten my demands.

and

"(Don’t know why) I’m too weak to cry.
(Don’t know why) I’m too broken to fly"

were the best parts. They totally got me into the poem and kept me there. I thought you did a really good job of putting the words together and yeah, it was good.

Utterly amazing. In all honesty I had to read it twice just to grasp all of it and then a third time just to be "awe struck" one more time! I encourage all that have read it once.... to do it again!

Very wonderful!
this stanza:
How the insecurities inside me drum
Against my heart.
How the tears will never end
Because I wont let them start.

absolutely caught my heart, and brought tears- it's totally me! Wow! Amazing poem. I'm still rubbing away the goosebumps!
