Array ( [sid] => 60986 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Mythology Love Poem [time] => 2004-08-22 07:48:59 [hometext] => This is a completely fictional tale with a man loving a woman and telling of how the Gods and Goddesss themselves would do anything for their love if not for one minor thing... [bodytext] => It seems to me,
That storms gather,
When we are apart,
It would seem,
As if the rain comes down,
Even harder,
When your not around,
And that the thunder only scares me,
When your not there,
The lightning only distracts me,
When you dissapear,
The clouds start to gather,
As I start to take you home,
And the day suddenly turns to night.

And it seem to me,
That the storm dissapears,
When your in my view,
It would seem,
As if Heaven itself,
Stops the rain just for you and I,
And that the thunder,
Isn't there when I'm disctracted by the beauty of your eyes,
The lightning ignites,
Only when your gaze meets mine,
The clouds evaporate,
As I take you away again,
And the night suddenly turns to day.

Eos will never again bring dawn,
If it means that we will never part,
Thor will never again bring the thunder,
If it means that neither of us has to hurt again,
Aphroditi will never again let love happen,
If it means that ours will always last,
Cupid will regain his sight,
As long as he knows he hit us looking at eachother,
And the Grim Reaper would never again take another life,
If it meant that we would live forever in eternal bliss.

It seems to me,
That when we meet,
Nothing else exists,
It would seem,
That you and I,
Create a rivet in the pulse of time,
Meant for only you and I,
Nothing else matters,
Nothing else is even there,
Just your mind connecting with mine,
Everything else is simply erased,
And your face is suddenly a perfect silhouette.

And it seems to me,
That when that silhouette starts to fade,
I feel like mercury finds its way to my veins,
It would seem,
That that rivet disolves,
And the day must go by,
Slowly, slowly by,
And in a wieghed down wait,
I sit here and lie,
About how life is o.k.,
With my plastic smile on my face,
That is occasionally replaced,
When the thought of you bounces in my mind.

Loki would never again play a trick,
If it meant that our love was not a game,
Heimdall would fall over dead,
If it meant that we would live in Asgard,
Sunna would run his charriot faster then ever,
If it meant that the sun would never leave our sides,
Saturn would stop the sands,
It it meant that we could be forever together,
And Vucub-Caquix himself would never touch your soul,
If it meant you could be with me today.
