What did you want to say,
You were playing me back then,
I think your playing me again,
You say that no ones to blame,
Now isn’t that a shame,
I gave you a second chance,
You ruined that without a second glance.

I gave my love to you that day,
All you did was lead me astray,
I gave myself to you,
All you did was make me blue,
I gave you my heart,
All you did was tear it apart.

I tried to love you once back then,
I tried to love you once again,
You were my one and my all,
You said you’d be there when I fall,
But now the walls around me crumble,
And you’re not here to catch me when I stumble,
When you fell I was always there,
I showed you so many times that I cared.

All that I had now has departed,
Nothing good that I’ve ever had has lasted,
I now turn back to the knife,
To take this scarred and worn life,
I cut thin and then cut deep,
To free myself of the things I don’t want to keep,
All the things around me fade,
My last thought of the blade. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 163 [topic] => 13 [informant] => Dizza_13 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 15 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

I like this one. It really reaches me as i feel a similar way about someone i thought was close to me. I wrote something you might appreciate, its lame not as grand as yours,

shards of torns charge
through my mind, wounds
never healing, never forgotten,
friends as these who needs
nightmares.

What saddness and betrayal in your words! I feel like this sometimes. I hope you feel better.
