Flower petals bear yesterdays rain,
Branches wave to welcome Morning,
One more day silently leaves again.

My breath filled with foreign air,
Yet familiarity grows upon my skin,
Each day the veil of pre-judged impressions,
Is taken over by appreciative tints.

The beauty of simplicity slowly evoked,
Glory of humanity painted with voices,
Rainbows peek behind dreary clouds,
A calm lies beyond ignorant noises.

Traditional land of ancestral wonder,
Lifts my head higher and higher above,
Though storms arrive with claps of thunder,
With gold shafts come assuring doves. [comments] => 8 [counter] => 222 [topic] => 19 [informant] => blueheart [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 25 [ratings] => 5 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => InspirationalPoems )
