Is it wrong to feel this way?
To wake up in the middle of the night
To see if you've left a message
The floor is cold, much like my confidence
You were the smell of rain when it touched my tongue
The whisper of the mountains
That lay so perfectly in Montreux
Your eyes hold the storm
That never ends in my mind
Bruised and Tired from the constant pounding of the rain
The night sky never seemed so depressed till tonight
When the city lights touch nothing but my desolate hands
Facing northeast never killed me so bad
Its like when your words of love cut me
And my insides bled from the distance between us
I saw you last night with her and you laughed
Hard to believe that used to be me who made you laugh
And now all I do is make you forget about a former love
How much strength whould it really take for me to say, "I'm sorry?"
All the way to my casket

Is it wrong to feel this way?
Open eyes and cherished memories
Never kept me awake for so long
Its hard to carry your self-made pain
When it can be carried in the palm of your hand
If I'd just change
How could I let my beautiful fall into the sweetness of another?
When did the beige sheets start calling out your name?
Why does my reflection turn into ripples of regret?
Reality fit you best, I will agree
The beauty of others never lets me forget you
Like when the heat burns & sun kisses my face
And I'm left with an image that spotlights all my weaknesses
Never has small blue porcealin shoes made me feel so lonely
And a picture of your hometown make me cringe so much
Crying for the courage to hear your voice again

Is it wrong to feel this way?
To want to call you at 4 in the morning
To want to tell you that I hate you for keeping me up
But I love you anyways
And you say, "You have a choice."
"Either forget about us & move on,
Or sleep in your regrets where you belong."
The truth is I'd rather die then ever forget you.

wow this was so beautiful and poetic. Its a
tragedy that i am the first to comment on this.
I am trying to pick out a favourite line, but I am
finding that impossible. An awesome poem
that i will now read again.
