Array ( [sid] => 60846 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Kentucky Girl [time] => 2004-08-20 20:18:14 [hometext] => This is just a splice of life, a snapshot of the beauty of life and young love, as well as inexperience in life. Hope you like it. [bodytext] =>
She walks down the beach
Staring at where
The ocean
Meets the sky
Two opposites
The ocean and sky
Kissing each other
She dips her feet in the water
But pulls away as the
Sand crab wiggles
Beneath her toes
She just flew in from
Kentucky
She covers her legs with
Sand
Then breaks out of it
And brushes the sand from out of
Her blonde
Flowing hair
She smells the ocean breeze
And
Feeds the garrulous seagulls
She says that she is afraid of
Change
But her actions speak of a
Different
Opinion
She finally lies down on her
Sand pillow
She plays connect the dots
With the
Stars
And closes her eyes
Listening to
The sweet music of the
Crickets in the long grass
And the
Drum rolls
Of the
Waves

She is just a
Girl from Kentucky
Dreaming of her boyfriend
Back home
