You lose everything, no matter how hard you try.

Pain is just a feeling,
You'll get over it.
Cute turn into scars
Which all fade.
Love is a four letter word
That must not be spoken.
Words on paper
Can be ripped up.
Pathways in the woods
Get covered and forgotten.
Boyfriends can stay
But they eventually become ex's.
Pictures are great memories
Yet they fade and tear.
New cars can be awsome
Until they break down.
Money can buy you power
Unless you lose it all.
Beauty is only skin deep
But plastic surgery sure does cover.
Everything has it's beginning
Too bad there's also an end.
You can't have it all.
So why is it so hard to get up,
After you've lost everything.

I really like your poem, I think everyone feels that way at one point, and you describe it so well! Someone must've really hurt you, but I'm sure your better off. Please keep writing!
