[time] => 2004-08-19 09:36:48 [hometext] => sorry for such a morbid write, but this is how I am feeling at the moment............(my poem How To Trust should be under self struggling) :( [bodytext] => What did your birth Mother give you?
Mine’s dead but she can still put me through,
Years of negative thoughts & self torment,
Leaving in my mental health such a dent.

I was given the gift of eternal pain,
She’s with me like a thorn in my brain,
Telling me that suicide is my only way out,
Puts my wanting to live under severe doubt.

She wants to see me lay in an early grave,
I am a damaged soul that no-one can save,
Fated to die on my own, a lonely death,
Letting suicide steal my very last breath.

I have been left here on earth to rot,
To slip under insanity & lose the plot,
All the while I can hear her haunting laugh,
In my tortured serotonin she takes a bath.

Me, the daughter grown in a diseased womb,
You took my soul & onto the floor you strewn,
I was conceived in sheer & utter hate,
You'll surely be the sealer of my already doomed fate.

Wonderful write. But please don't give up just yet. You can always start over, you don't have to be like your mother, show her who's the better person. Best of luck.
Katie

Sometimes poems can leave you utterly speechless.
This one certainly did just that.
A soul tormented definitely in this

Things can be turned around Pixie it does not have to be this way
Yes you can destroy what happiness you feel for what.
Yes there is help you just have to reach out and ask for it. Turn your life around now hard as it may seem... it is not once you allow all negitivity to leave
A powerful deep emotional poem very well written
Good luck

Lots of love Sweetangelukxxxxx

It is your choice as to who wins this contest. Seems like that is what this is. Either you can let her defeat you for the rest of your life, and ruin forever for you; or you can turn your heart, back, mind and soul to her and tell her she is gone and cannot hurt you. She never could if you honestly think about it. Why do you choose to keep letting her? I hope this is fiction too, but it doesn't feel like it is.

A very powerful write. It takes a stronger person than you give yourself credit for to survive.

Hugs Always,

Oh Pixie to this one I can certainly relate!
I had to live with a very sick abusive mother, for all the days of my young life. I could chose which way I wanted to be......I decided not to pick up where she left off! She dead now, but even while abusing me and telling me she wished I die.......I stayed happily filled with joy! And still do.
It's your choice dear.....it's all up to you! Want to be happy,,,,, or sad......it's your trick.....which will it it be!
Love
consue
