Array ( [sid] => 60208 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => This Is My Last Poem To You [time] => 2004-08-15 13:08:04 [hometext] => we almost split up yesterday, it was a very emotional time for us,as my anger/depression really puts strain on the relationship,we are staying together, it'd be such a shame to split ....... [bodytext] => This poem to you will be my last,
As after this you’ll be part of my past,
I’m sick & tired of wondering why?
You don’t comfort me when I cry.

I doubt that this is for the best,
My pained heart needs quite a rest,
I really thought you cared for me,
But how stupid can one girl be?

I need to be held when I am hurt,
Not looked at like I belong in the dirt,
You think you know my pain, but you don’t,
I wish you would hug me, but you won’t.

In my past I have done bad things,
Are you my punishment disguised in dove’s wings?
If you are you have more than succeeded,
Your heartless service is no longer needed.

Do I really deserve all this?
Take the knife & give it one last twist,
So here is where my chapter ends,
It’s just a memory when you were my lover & friend.

I know it, too. My depression can make things very hard. I try to not infect others with it, but sometimes it can't be helped. I was very down yesterday, and today my hubby took me to a butterfly house. It cheered me so much. Sometimes just a little attention does the trick. Hang in there. I'm praying for you.

Oh pixie, how gripping this is! What a moving emotional touching write. You really gave it your all, your feelings are very apparent. Though its a sad subject the poem thives in the topic & is excellently done.
