ive read ur comments on other peoples poems, and basically you sound like a very rude person. you critisize there work in a very unproductive way, yet produce no poetry of your own. grow up or leave us alone!

Hope you don't mind me asking...

--WHY IS IT THAT YOUR SO CALLED POEM IS MUCH SHORTER --
--THAN ALL YOUR COMMENTS AND
THEY ARE WRITTEN LIKE A NOVEL?--

p.s. you only had to press [6 or 8] keys
that would have been so hard to do...
WOOPS!
[sorry 4 the sarcasm...]

Doesn't everyone write about themselves in some way? Even if a parody of stereotype, you fail to recognise that this site isn't supposed to be an arena of excellence, in any way - its a solace. Of course, it would be nice if it were geared towards it somehow, (note to those P.O.E.T.S still flying that crusading standard), and if there were enough people who cared (like you) to be vocal enough to effect change. But there isn't, and getting angry at both the lack of progress and results, then belittling those you're trying to help in the first place is at best, counter-productive, and at worst, childish.

I think you need to accept that all submissions (even the most stereotypical you can think of) are unique and deserving of respect, regardless of how bad you perceive them to be. Until you do this, both you and your critique service will remain without credibility, regardless of how accurate or scathing it may or may not be.

Thanks for reading.

I think people are being somewhat hard on this dumb *****. All he seems to be doing is trying to shine a new light in the line of said "poetry". It is true that people write about themselves- so what though? Can you really write about anything you dont understand? You know nothing about anything other than yourself. You might have your own opion, sure- but that doesnt mean you know anything of it. I can't write about someone else, I dont know what's going on in their heads. And this "AcrosticCacophany" can't either. See? He tried, and all he could spit out was "Me me me me me me... ect, ect." All I have left to say is yes, I can see your poem came from the bottom of your heart, and withfilled all the emotions in your mind. Good job, AcrosticCacophany. Good job.

This...is...minimalism?

One word. Over and over and over.
I think it's hilarious, but that's me. Everyone else seems to think it's written about them.
Hmm.

I think this fellow has successfully docked both free verse and the egocentric poet on the head--and won quite the world of fish for his bait. Let's not be letting him snicker--but for those of you who take offense, you're better than this smidget of an insult.

Prove it to him.

Oh yeah, AC--

Amusingly done.
