With much strength I gain
While my lonely heart still defeating

Fewer relations mixed with the usual pain
Pain of my romantic illusions
Pain of my heart breaking
Pain of my love disparity
Pain, Pain and Pain
And it’s the same repeating day still remains
The same repeating meaningless words
“Happy Birthday”

Still so lonely without such woman who in my dreams I want share
Still voided from any real romantic memories from the past for that day to compare
And it still just me, my loneliness and that repeated old day

Lonely nights I spent
Wondering, hoping, asking my God for a better day
Looking to sky, spreading my hands and pray
Just to feel those repeating words real meaning
Comes out from a woman who I deeply desire
Tenderly rounding me with her arms close to her chest
Printing my cheek with a kiss which burns as fire
Whispering my ear
With those words I always used to hear
But with a new taste
Simply her way
Honey…

My advice:

Credi in te! Ascolta il tuo cuore!
Fai quel che dice anche se fa soffrire!
Chiudi gli occhi e poi tu lasciati andare;
prova a volare oltre questo dolore!

-Laura Pausini, Ascolta il Tuo Cuore
