[hometext] => My beautiful friends of over 50 years treated us to dinner last night in Laramie! We enjoyed each others company so much, I was inspired to write this poem. What precious friends they are! My favorite author and his wife.
[bodytext] =>  "TRUE FRIENDS YOU"LL FOREVER BE!" True friends can be likened to a Gracious Gazebo! Surrounded with all green.....everything alive! In their presence, your sorrows take a furlough! A refuge in our lives, to help us survive, to thrive! Like a beautiful gazebo, asked in out of the rain, Arms embrace, comfortable, cozy, want to remain! Sunsets in a gazebo, with warmth's vivid colors. Amidst crazy sea of mankind, stable as anchors!  Together, moments so precious, seconds invaluable. Work of art, painted with oils on life's easel. Your heart will never again be the same...... Counting days, weeks, return friendship reclaim! Stories exhanged, everyone talking at once..... Did you hear the one about the "Secretary Clearance?" No single place except in their presence, Just be yourself, no one will care, love's joyance!  Overcome by sadness when it comes time to depart..... Reserving this visit's remembrances in your heart!
