Lying on a washed plate
The cloth looked all stained
Dieing in this huddled state

Everything dies including trees and
All the little things we can’t even see and
All I ask; is that it all goes slowly and
That it all fades before the end

So that I have one last moment
Time to gather up my thoughts
So that I can finally apprehend:

All that drops, all that burns and all that’s drained
Because we all know just by looking in the mirror
That fate is near
All that matters is our honesty and
Knowing that there really is nothing to fear

Great Write. This makes me think of life and what is really important to people. I question myself " What will it be like in our end of time?" My sister in law died three days ago. She was murdered. I didn't reall know her... but she left my nephew behind... he's only 3. I guess I haven't given myself time to grief, but this poem has surely done that for me. Well Written. No words to explain what this has meant to me. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. PEACE BE WITH YOU.
ALINA
