Array ( [sid] => 5979 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => No Title [time] => 2002-10-31 14:20:00 [hometext] => this is a continuation from my last piece: Leaning Toward Goodbye....... [bodytext] => You tell me that you understand
My depression and despair
You tell me that you love me
And you will always care

You tell me that it’s not to late
And I don’t have to die
You ignore me when I tell you
I’m leaning toward goodbye

You disregard my actions
As real cries for help
You say I want attention
And these are my own cards I dealt

Does it make you feel better
To say that I am fine
Just a petty little spiteful *****
How can you be so blind?

Does it make you feel innocent
An excuse to walk away
Then help me with my problems
Why should you have to stay?

I believed you when you told me
That you really cared
I let it hold my heart in place
Now I am running scared

This is beyond what I can do
Beyond what I can say
There is nothing more inside me
That could ever make you stay

You tell me that you don’t know anymore
Is this lacking clarity?
Why can’t you take two ***** seconds
From your goddamn popularity

Don’t tell me that you’re not leaving
It’s just a ***** lie
If there’s one last thing you could do for me
It would be to not deny

I told you that I need you
This you have to know
So if you care so ***** much
Why am I alone?
