on the floor of a trendy forest
the chess pieces
delicate petite figurines filled with
white nectar
dancing like handicapped ballerinas
capturing tree with their legs
enslaving butterflies with long yellow braids
fighting against lost passionate ants
like a fiery Golden Ratio scattered on the ground

swords carved out of dead mosquitoes
break like dry wood
echoing victory for all creepy-crawlies

I sit inside the wretched soil
like a hog in bleach
loosing my queen
watching her scream
and be carried away in
twig handcuffs

On the other side you sit on
velvet moon pillows
and hide your king behind a row
of vampire pawns

you have taken my horses
I walk in shame
my land
my tower
my people
all back in their box

Checkmate.

Checkmate?

Checkmate.

Knuckles
thighs
toes
tense

Chess is not a game for lovers.

Chess is a game of domination, and for lovers, a tricky set. Nice job.

God Damn You! You are so f*cking good....I can't compete with this. How long have you been writing? Anyway, this is very intelligent....

delicate petite figurines filled with
white nectar
dancing like handicapped ballerinas
capturing tree with their legs

And f*cking hilarious. lol

swords carved out of dead mosquitoes
break like dry wood
echoing victory for all creepy-crawlies

and be carried away in
twig handcuffs

great way to include the whole forest scene into the entire poem...That's what I mean by this being intelligent.

Be True,
zenmind
