Like how the sun comes up then fades away to dawn.
To me you were my grandpa, not my step-grandpa, you always treated me like all the rest.
I will miss you a lot, you were a great person, the best.
I have some fond memories of you and I always will.
I just wish God wouldnt have sealed the deal.
I would have told you how much you are like a real grandpa to me, not at all like a step one.
But I can not cause now you are gone.
I know you are in that great place up high and reunting with friends and family members.
But you leaving has made some of our souls burn like fiery embers.
I hope you will remember us all when it is our turn to go up to the great place.
I know we will remember you, we will never forget your face.

In loving memory of Norman Felarise. A loving grandpa(paw paw) to me. A fitting tribute to someone you will clearly miss.
He may be gone but the memories will remain.
Take care

I know how it feels to lose a grandparent. I lost my grandpa and my step grandma within six months of each other. They will always be in your memories and after 3 1/2 years you will still cry over something that reminded you of them. Everything gets easier w/time. You just told him what you felt and he does know. wonderful poem. it reminds me of my grandpa b/c he died so suddenly. Keep up the good writing.
