and wants to bring you down to your knees
but trust me my child, it won't last forever
one day soon you'll be free of disease

for depression is painful, sneaks in uninvited
takes what it wants without saying please
but although you may feel drained of good feeling
one day child you'll be free of disease

although suicide's powerful, preying on victims
taking away the soul that it needs
this lonely rage it won't last forever
someday child you'll be free of disease

although it will try hard to take you away
fight it, oh fight it, i'm begging you please
for like good things, the bad things don't last forever
one day you'll wake up and your soul will be free

That's what I'm hoping for to wake up one day and be free...your poetry always strikes a chord in me...it's like when I'm searching for the words to describe how I feel you've gone and posted a poem with em'...thanks for sharing...

They'll be free of this disease one day, but believe me, Blue...there is one disease they'll never escape. I think you know what I speak of. Its the state of mind you know all too well.
Good poem.
