Who wants to just erase his past and start over again?
Ever had a loved one pass that was too close to your heart?
Ever heard your family say that it was all your fault?
Then don't judge me

I've stood alone and cried while my life came tumbling down
And had my mother's love turn completely - around
I had to sit and take this pain that none could understand
I sat alone in my darkened room with no one to hold my hand
And comfort me

I think I've been living far too long
I think it was time my life was gone
I hurt and no one can comprehend
So I think it's time my life should end

Come home only to be beaten once more again
How I'd love to give back the pain to this man
Have you ever been isolated from this - world
Or been born to a drugged up abusive -

Have I done a deed to deserve this -
Do I need a reason to put up with it?
Why was I cursed with this plan
Because I need someone to hold my hand

I think I've been living far too long
I think it was time my life was gone
I hurt and no one can comprehend
So I think it's time my life should end

I can't take this

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
