To make her smile, if ever she cried
when I see her sad
My heart stops beating
My world falls apart
and I start feeling my eyes weeping

I dont know what to do or say
to satisfy her is all I convey
I gave her my heart with all my love
But no matter what I do, it's never enough

All I asked for is someone to love
All I yearn for is to hold her in my arms

And even though she brightens up my day with her smile
In the end she'll break my heart
And end it's eternal useless beating with dismay that's futile [comments] => 6 [counter] => 404 [topic] => 2 [informant] => ender [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

nicely written... yet sad at the same time. it starts out happier then it ends. it portrays someone who has been hurt before and is afraid the same will happen again with the next love... my main thoughts: don't ever give up on love. not everyone is out to use and hurt you. very nice write.

Great poem...it's a little sad, but I think there are people who can really relate to this.
