I saw today
He taught me the words
I ought to say

Words of beauty
Love and grace
But I can't say them
To your face

To the sound of your voice
And the look in your eyes
I compare these words
And they suddenly die

There are no words
To describe you, Love
But for the tongue
Of the angels above

That language I
Have yet to learn
And 'till that day
My heart must burn [comments] => 5 [counter] => 170 [topic] => 2 [informant] => wachumiri [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 18 [ratings] => 4 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

OOooOoOoo! I love this! :-)

The only suggestion I might make is that it could use a stronger ending. What a wonderful subject, though!

Rather cool piece, cousin. Save you "aught" to have written ought. As I suppose you've noticed. That, or you're an illiterate hooligan. Hmm. Could be that...
Anyway, so long.

I don't find the ending to be lacking at all. Beautiful love poem, as usual.

Good Job
Ann
