Wherever they marched was dusted with the icy frost of victory, and a new winter was born. A line of holly trees stood in silent homage, their shiny green cloaks bejewelled with rubies, and the snow topped hedges, black shoots poking through were the ermine robes for the new ruler to wear, on his victory parade!
