Array ( [sid] => 59237 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => That Girl [time] => 2004-08-07 08:19:27 [hometext] => I do not have the slightest clue in the WORLD why i wrote this and why i bothered to put it on the site :S But umm yeah have a read. I can't write songs so yer. [bodytext] => Been here since 6pm and the concert hasn’t started,
The crowd standing steady,
The bands getting ready,
But the singer ain’t shown up,

Maybe she got lost on her way,
Just like the other day,
no dreams brought her here,
She's just a little girl,
She never rocked my world,
That girl,

That girl,
She’s lost in Hollywood,
Never could be understood,
Still she held her head up high,
Never let fans see her cry,
That girl,

Music was her one true gift, fame was her weakness,
Media had pulled her in,
Each way she turned she couldn’t win,
She stayed strong cos she would,
She made the music cos she could,

When she got lost she found her way,
Just like the other day,
It’s her dreams that brought her here,
She isn’t just a little girl,
She’s that girl that rocked my world,
That girl,

Oh,
That girl,
She’s lost in Hollywood,
Never could be understood,
Still she held her head up high,
Never let fans see her cry,
That girl,

It’s concert night it’s 6pm, that girls on stage,
She sings again,
That girl,

She’s lost in Hollywood,
Never could be understood,
Still she held her head up high,
Never let fans see her cry,

Man, what are you talking about? My songwriting skills are worse than yours! I really enjoyed reading this, nice but tragic story you penned here...well done.

Deffinately can't sell yourself short. If you can't write songs/lyrics, I'm betting you are fabulous at what you know you can do !!!
