Array ( [sid] => 59108 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => One song [time] => 2004-08-06 07:42:29 [hometext] => This speaks of faith. Powerful like fire, gentle as a hope-filled song. This speaks of my faith in my Savior. [bodytext] => From the sojourner’s heart,
from the mountains far,
over the arms of the mist and sea,
one song comes calling out to me.

One flame will again warm the night,
when paths get lost, it’ll learn to shine.
When the shadows fight bloodless wars,
one flame will again unlock the stars.

Deep in the woods, darkness is falling
but I’ll wear my song with my armor.
Your love is bound around my very soul,
in my loneliest moments, I don’t walk alone.

One fire will again shimmer with my dream,
it’ll make pure all that I set my course upon.
When battles wage on, when hopes turn to fear,
one fire will again shine the face of my savior.

I was beckoned by someone to follow,
long before I chose to walk this road,
from the twilight’s crimson, over the prairie,
one song had come… calling out to me.

One song

From the sojourner’s heart,

Deep in the woods, darkness is falling
but I’ll wear my song with my armor.

Reminds me of the beautiful songs of old. David singing psalms to his Lord, Moses writing words of honor... your verses fit right in.
Thank you so much. It's very uplifting
Take care.
David

Uplifting, powerful, emotional. All words used to describe your post. But I'm going to add one, honest. You put your heart on paper.... well on screen... you know what I mean. lol. This was great. Just maintain your voice and never change what you feel on the inside. You have been given a gift for a reason. You have the power to reach people. Teachers sometimes wish they had the ability to reach people. You have a gift from God. Don't waste what was given to you. Great job and can't wait to read more!! Holla Front!!!!!!
