She’s the girl on the nose of the B-17
She trick or treats for Christmas
Makes expensive gifts on Halloween
Her toothy, gin soaked smile
Gets the old ladies all riled
But boys like me can spot her from a mile

She’s still saying funny words like “swell”
her hair looks weird, but what the hell
My grandmother’s style suits her better
As long as she doesn’t knit me a sweater

She’s drifting in her own backwater
Defiantly offbeat like an illegal squatter
Chin up, shoulders back like a pose
Her perfume smells like wilted rose

She spikes our malts from a flask in her pocket
When she wants to leave she says “let’s rocket”
She climbs winking into the back of my car
asking, “What? You’ve never gone this far?”

No doubt the strangest girl I’ve ever seen

Nose Art Girlfriend

She’s the girl on the nose of the B-17

good funny poem i have written poems on aspects of life but not a funny poetry like yours i will try to write some poems like yours nice finish
