I reminis on the past, on you and I
And for a short time it really was true
But it was never meant to be, I'm not for you
It was nothing but a game, all in fun
Who would've thought it'd end with you face on my gun
I pulled the trigger, you staggered then fell
And now it's your turn to play in my Hell
I was so weak, so brittle, so desperate when we met
Who'd have thought we'd play the roles for a life already set
Throughout time your game I learned
And I knew in my Hell you'd burn
You taught me so many things, I couldn't believe
But I studied and mastered, you made the current me
Time passes by and again it's that time
That I remember so well the times of you and I
And I miss so much how it felt to be in your arms
You'd whisper softly " Here there are no harms"
And I remember the softness of your lips
And the way your hands felt on my hips
I remember being in the park, the way the grass felt
When I knew falling for you I would burn in Hell
I remember being in a fantasy world, full of bright stars
And believing your false words when you said you weren't far
I remember being scared, afraid of what I didn't know
But then thought it was ridiculous once your love showed
How could have I been so blind, so weak
Maybe it's because of the sweet words he's speak
But now the past's buried beneath the dirt, never to allow
Another soul to view this tale, and all the secrets found
With the past in the dirth with nothing to mark it's spot
The past slowly fades and all is forgot. [comments] => 1 [counter] => 278 [topic] => 13 [informant] => CuttersAngel [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )
